Alison Honour is the new remedial massage therapist at New Leaf.. Pain can be helped long term with many types of massage treatments and it takes an experienced and well-qualified therapist to know how to help you!
We’re trialling Alison for the next few months to see how she goes. If the first few weeks are any indication, she’s doing well, next week is packed and the week after getting very busy as well. We’ve had re-bookings by many clients already (very impressive). No surprise I suppose since she has 5 diplomas qualifications in massage therapy:
- Diploma of Remedial Massage
- Diploma of Remedial Therapies – Reflexology
- Diploma of TCM Remedial Massage ( An Mo Tui Na)
- Diploma of Oriental Massage – Shiatsu
- Diploma of Sports Massage
- and has 3 years training in Acupuncture as well.
Alison also does Hot Stone Massage (mmmmmm..); Pregnancy massage; facials; deluxe facials using frequency specific microcurrent and much more. With Alison’s history in competative sports she has a great knowledge of the human body, how it performs under stress and what it needs to get well after injury. She has worked closely with Fibromyalgia Clients, Bowel Cancer Clients; sporting injuries along with people who just need some relaxation. With 3 years training in acupuncture she has an overall health perspective you’ll get from few other massage therapists!
